Getting Hired — and Not Getting Scammed
Why this matters offshore
The offshore industry attracts two kinds of messages: genuine vacancies from employers and agencies, and scams that exploit people's hopes. Scammers copy real company names, invent "rig jobs" with unrealistic pay and ask for fees for visas, "training", medicals or "processing". Meanwhile genuine recruiters receive hundreds of generic CVs and skim each one in seconds. This module teaches you to build an application that gets read — and to spot fakes before they cost you money.
