Fair questions about the money
Because compliance is not a document, it is a state you stay in. The manual goes out of date the moment you move office, change your Information Officer or start collecting something new. The banner has to keep recognising tracking vendors that did not exist last year. And the consent log only has value because it keeps accumulating.
If you cancel, you keep the documents you have already generated and you can export your whole consent log. What stops is the updating, the banner, and the record continuing to grow.

Each legal entity needs its own manual, because each one is a separate private body under PAIA with its own Information Officer. Talk to us — there is a sensible arrangement for a group and we would rather discuss it than publish a rate card for a situation we have not seen.
No contract term and no cancellation fee. Your consent log is exportable at any time, and the documents are PDFs you already hold. Locking people in is a way of keeping customers who want to leave, and we would rather know they want to leave.
It is cheaper because it is a different thing. A lawyer applies judgement to your circumstances; software applies a reviewed template to your answers. For a business with ordinary record-keeping that is the right tool, and far better than the nothing most businesses currently have.
For a dispute, an investigation or an unusual structure, you want an attorney. We will tell you that rather than take the money.
